1Look for an outlet with two small buttons labeled Test and Reset. It's usually in a kitchen, bathroom, garage or outdoors.
2Unplug anything plugged into it.
3Press the Reset button firmly until it clicks.
4Plug a lamp in to check. If the power is back, the dead outlets should work again too.

Good to knowIf it won't reset or keeps tripping, there may be a wiring or appliance problem. Stop using it and call an electrician.
