Tap each step as you finish it.

1Close the door so it doesn't sag while the pin is out.
2Tap the hinge pin upward from underneath with a nail and hammer until you can pull it out.
3Wipe the pin clean, then coat it with a thin layer of petroleum jelly.
4Push the pin back in and tap it down.
5Open and close the door a few times to spread the jelly. Repeat for other hinges.

Good to knowDo one hinge at a time so the door stays on.

Wipe your brush on a rubber band instead of the rim.

Cover the hose with a thin sock and lost earrings get caught, not swallowed.

Mark the hangers on tape, move the tape to the wall and nail through the marks.
