1Fill a microwave-safe bowl with about 1 cup of water.
2Cut a lemon in half, squeeze the juice into the water, then drop both halves in.
3Microwave on high for 3 minutes, until it's steaming.
4Leave the door closed for 5 more minutes so the steam can work.
5Carefully take out the bowl and wipe the inside clean with a sponge.

Good to knowThe bowl and water will be very hot. Use an oven mitt.

Warm water, a drop of dish soap and 30 seconds of blending.

Soak it overnight in a bag of vinegar and the mineral buildup melts away.

Wipe each slat between your fingers with a damp sock. Done in minutes.
